It drains 0.74mA When turned off. This means the batteries last for maximum 45 days without you even turning it on once. And it drains batteries until they are completely dead! Turned on it draws 0.7A which means it runs little over an hour. I wish it would have used AA batteries. Then we could have gotten twice the life. Love the item but hate the poor battery life!
